interior painting project HELP? | |
i peeled wallpaper off the walls and the glossy paint underneath is peeling all over. how do i get rid of all the paint without literally peeling every piece off?
Answers:
1On the wall paper make sure you have very hot water and a sponge to wipe over the wall paper soak it and allow 30 seconds prior to peeling , this will help the removal process. On the areas where paint under the wall has started to peel take a knife and make a circle around the peeling area and peel upto your circle, this will stop the rest of the paint from comming off. when your all done, clean the walls real good with hot water and a sponge. You will then have to feather in those areas that peeled with some spackle or joint compound. lightly sand and prime prior to painting.
